FAUSTINO MATTIONI Obituary
FAUSTINO, 79, on November 20, 2013. Beloved husband of Suzanne (Lyman). Devoted father of Elizabeth Susanna Mattioni (Denis Collopy) and Edward Faustino Mattioni. Proud grandfather of Andrew Faustino Collopy. A 1956 graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY, Faust sailed as a Chief Mate for the Alcoa Steamship Company for 5 years. He then attended Temple Law School, graduating summa cum laude in 1964. Faust founded the law firm Mattioni, Mattioni, and Mattioni Ltd. with his brothers Dante and John where he worked until his retirement in 2009. While working at the firm, he taught business law at the Temple University School of Business for 10 years. He is survived by 8 siblings; Maria (Guido), Dante (Susan), Rosalie (Paul), John (Mary), Helen (Andrew), Angela (Klaus), Eugene (Marie), and Mae (Bruce). Predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Concetta (Tenisci) Mattioni, and brother Blasco. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Seamen's Church Institute of Philadelphia and South Jersey, 475 North 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA. 19123.
Services will be private.

We were so sad to hear of Faust's passing. He was a remarkable man. He will always be remembered for his many kindnesses and wisdom.

I am sorry to read of his passing. He taught me at Temple Business school before I attended law school. He was a fine teacher and a good man. You have my deepest sympathy.
