I will always remember her smile and laugh. Stopping by for a vist, Jim would always call me "Gilchie". She would take me by the hand and say"Barb c'mon sit down, want something to eat, how's your mom." She was always thinking of everyone and doing for others. There are not many of the older St. Teresa crowd left but the work they did to build the church and familes are evident. My thoughts are prayers are with you all.

"Comare Florrie"...This is how she referred to herself when she called my house, or should I say my Father and Mother's house. To me that is who she was. I remember like it was yesterday the cake she made for me for my Holy Communion. That was 32 years ago. I tell my children about it and I still have the pieces that were on top of it. She made it so special. She was the most special person ever. I remember sitting at her table in Runnemede while her and my Mother would talk and I would be eating these things she made..."honey balls??" and I couldn't stop eating them. I just wish people had half of what she had in her. The world would be a better place. What a wonderful woman.

Florrie was much a part of my childhood. She was my surrogate mom, when mine went to work, back in the 5th grade. I cooked, Julie cleaned. Florrie was a phone call away. taught be how to cook alot of things, her "gravy", meatballs and of course her lasagna...I will miss her alot. Hope she's having a nice visit with my parents, & Jim Boyle & the Rafferty's and the Ostlie's, too.....My entire families thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult of times...
