Florence Cooper Obituary

Cooper Florence "Floss" Marie Age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, one month shy of her 94th birthday, and went home to be with the Lord. Born on June 9, 1931, Floss lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, touched by the love and kindness of all who knew her. A woman of warmth, wit, and unwavering spirit, Floss had an innate ability to connect with people. Her journey was enriched by the friendships she cultivated and the joy she brought into the lives of others. Whether sharing a laugh, offering her candid opinion, or simply being present, she made every moment memorable. Floss's true loves were her family, the shores of Ocean City, New Jersey, lively gatherings with friends, and the enchanting ambiance of The Grand Floridian Hotel at Disney World. Her zest for life was evident in her every endeavor, and her legacy is one of joy, love, and cherished memories. She is survived by her daughter, Lyn Williams; sons, Steve and Ken Cooper; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Floss was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence (Ostrowski) Laycock.
