HENNESSY FRANCIS DAVID, JR., ESQ. It is with great sadness that the family of Francis David Hennessy Jr. "Dave" announces his passing on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 95. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his children Jeff Hennessy (Eileen), Meg Flisek (Mike), Bonnie Shawa (Wangyal); grandchildren Michelle (Drew), Caitlin (Nathan), Kathleen (Ray), Sean (Cassie), Bridget, Jordan, Tara, Nyima; great grandchildren Melanie, Francis, Brynn, Jett and Luke; his sister Gail King (Bud) and his brother Huntly Hennessy ((Linda); along with numerous other family and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Charlene Curley Hennessy; his parents Francis and Mary Patricia Hennessy; and his brothers Shelley, Mark and Tom Hennessy. Visitation will be Friday Evening, April 19, 2024 from 5 – 7 P.M. and Saturday Morning, April 20, 2024 from 8:45 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 41 E. Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne, PA 19050. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 20, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church. An interment will follow at Fernwood Cemetery, 6501 Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne, PA. Memorial Donations in Dave's name may be made to St. Philomena Church, 41 E.
