Dr. Carrier's courses on third world history had a lasting impact on me. He was a great teacher and a very kind man, and I was touched by how he stayed in touch with me years after graduation and took pride in my accomplishments. I'm sure he will be missed by many.

Fred had a very deep and positive impact on me, from the time I was in his Villanova courses, then off & on over the years. He was a good and caring man. I know he touched many lives well.
