PA, age 78 years. Mr. Valente was an Army Veteran WWII, having served in the European Theater; husband of the late Mary Valente; beloved father of Melanie V. Nelson, Stephanie A. Hess, Frederick J. Valente and Domenic T. Valente; grandfather of Catherine, Jacquelyn and Rebecca; brother of Nicholas Valente, Alfonse Valente and Sarah DeColli. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Wed. 10:30 A.M., THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 3300 WEST CHESTER PIKE, NEWTOWN SQUARE PA and to Funeral Mass 12:15 P.M., St. Pius X Church, Broomall PA. Int. SS Peter and Paul Cem. Friends may also call Tues. eve. 7 to 9 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Assn, 325 N. Michigan Ave, Suite 1700, Chicago IL 60601-7633.
