DONEGAN
MAJOR FREDERICK J., USMC, ret. "BUZZ", age 75, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, surrounded by his family. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed by his wife, Ida (Muller) Donegan; his children and their spouses, Colleen M. and Brig. Gen. Donald Dunbar, USAF of New Berlin, WI, Frederick J., Jr. and Elizabeth Donegan of Hummelstown, PA, Theresa M. Donegan of Springfield, PA and Charles Carlson of Carlisle, PA, Patrick S. and Patricia Donegan of Mantua, NJ, Veronica A. and William Vivian of Newark, DE, and Jennifer A. and Craig Bayliss of Drexel Hill, PA. Also surviving are his brothers, Francis Donegan and his wife, Eleanor, and Edwin and the late Florence Donegan; his sisters and their spouses, Mary and John O'Neill and Bernadette and James Lonergan; 18 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visitation on Monday, March 2nd between 5 and 8 P.M. at MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington DE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11 A.M. at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington. Funeral service at Fort Myers Old Post Chapel on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009, at 10:45 A.M. Please assemble at the chapel at 10:15 A.M. Interment with full military honors will follow at Arlington National Cemetery.
