Frederick, Goehringer Obituary

Goehringer Frederick, III Age 93, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He is preceded in Death by his wife Gladys Goehringer (Heiken) and his son Frederick Goehringer IV. Born September 17, 1932, in Camden, NJ, Frederick was the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (Hofferbert) Goehringer. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his master's degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Fred spent his career as a professor of business teaching at the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University, Salem Community College and Drexel University where he received the 2001-2002 Lebow College of Business Adjunct Faculty Teaching Excellence award. He also worked as a consultant for Milsan Associates. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on projects at the cabin on Lake Wallenpaupack. Frederick is survived by one daughter, Glady Goehringer of Lake Ariel; two sons, Charles (Linda) Goehringer of Dover, DE and Michael Goehringer of Cherry Hill, NJ; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Goehringer; six grandchildren, Christine Downey (Chris), Charles Goehringer II (Rilee), Jacqueline Goehringer, Phillip Jennings (Anna), Lauren Jennings and Leigh Imamov (Matt); and seven great grandchildren, Jordan Jennings, Amelia, Zachariah, Elias and Delilah Imamov, and Cameron and Cade Downey. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Frederick's memory may be made to Dyberry Day Camp, ARC of Wayne County, P.O. Box 1121, Honesdale, PA 18431.
