Most down to earth, honest gentleman to ever wear the DRPA police uniform. He was a class act.

Gary is a friend of mine from Juniata Park. He hung with the younger guys although he was only a year younger than me and one grade below me at Holy Innocents School. We played a lot of ball together and against each other as all the guys from "The Park" did. In all that time I never remember Gary getting angry or saying a negative thing about someone else. He was always a kind, thoughtful man who would do anything for you if he could. I'm glad he made it to our annual get together for the Final Four in '15 with the other young guys. It was great to see him and reminisce. A fine person is missed.

A sad day for West Garden rd in Oreland when our neighbor and friend over the years went to his eternal home.
Gary was a great, friendly man who always seemed to focus on how you were over his own health struggles. Gary you will be missed.

To my dear friends in the Hoag, Timlin,Cleary and Buckley clans you are in my thoughts and my prayers.Gary was very much like a brother to me. I will miss his awesome sense of humor and his incredible loyalty. Our homes on the aptly named Friendship St saw times of joy; times of sadness----but mostly laughter. That is what I will remember. I send hugs to you all, and know that Gar is at peace.
Love,
Frank Devine (Unk Frank)
