My brother Joe Lopes knew George from Monsignor Bonner Prep and we all became part of the same circle of young friends. George was a joy, as his
family knows. I am happy to have shared
a small bit of friendship with the gregarious and kind young man he was.

Dear Mrs. Dart,

Although I've been able to express my sympathies to you and your family through George and Linda, I would like to take a moment to speak to you directly to extend my most sincere condolences on your loss of your husband. Although I've never had the privilege of meeting you or Mr. Dart, through my friendship and work association with George, I've learned much about the extraordinary gifts of love, laughter, and modeling that you and your husband gave to your children, grandchildren, and so many others. And, clearly, the way that everyone rallied in loving support of you, your husband, and each other during these past few months is a testament to the legacy that you and your husband created - this incredible Dart Family.

So along with my condolences, please accept my expression of absolute admiration and respect for the example that you and your husband set - not only for your family - but also for a Dad in Connecticut who's never even met you. May God bless and keep your husband in His loving arms, and may He continue to watch over you and your entire family.

Sincerely,
Bob Averack
