GEORGE R. JR.

81, passed away at his home in Downingtown on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018. George was born Oct. 10, 1936 in Pittsburgh PA to George and Mary Lois Graham. He graduated from Shadyside Academy ('55) and went on to attend Trinity College ('59), Hartford, CT. After being honorably discharged, he moved to New York City and was employed by Grey Advertising.
He and his wife Sally (nee Niness) left New York in 1965 and moved to Downingtown to raise their family. He worked for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines for many years, was active in local community organizations and was a supervisor of West Bradford Township for many years. In 1988, he acquired Apparel Business Systems and served as CEO until his death.
He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, daughter Kathryn Duggan (John); son George Graham, III (Kristen), three grandchildren; Gillian, Grace and George IV and his sister Lois Tingler (David).
