SCHRUFERGEORGE L., on Dec. 18, 2014. He was the beloved Dad of Tracey Schrufer and Charlene Rothe (Denis); Pappy to Ari Schrufer and dear brother of Geraldine Krause. Relatives, friends, members of Fire-fighters Local #22 and members of VFW Post 2 (Past Commander) are invited to attend his Viewing Sunday afternoon 3-6 P.M. THE REILLY FUNERAL HOME, 2632 E. Allegheny Ave. Inurnment will take place on Tuesday 11:30 A.M. Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

George, we had a couple of good years together until we were all sent our separate ways. You were the toughest firefighter and fastest man to pass through the "Big House" on Park Avenue. God bless.

I had the honor of reading the article in yesterdays paper telling us of this special firefighters career. I was so proud to see He was a North Catholic grad. Guys like him are the reason us North guys are such a proud group. Rest in Peace fellow Falcon, you made us proud!
