GEORGE E.
Loving son of the late Efthymios and Vasiliki Vlahos. Beloved husband for 39 years to Christine (nee Fonsemorti) Vlahos. Devoted father of Efthymios 'Tom' (Carly) and Anthony (Elyse) Vlahos. Cherished Papou of George and Nicolas. Brother of Catherine, Athansios, Chrisoula, Agatha, Konstantinos and Konstantina. Survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday, 5 to 8 P.M., THE CLARE McILVAINE MUNDY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7384 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Wigard Ave.), Phila. 19128, and on Wednesday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 7921 Old York Rd., Elkins Park PA 19027. There will be a Viewing 10 A.M., followed by the Divine Liturgy 11 A.M. Int. George Washington Mem. Park. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in George's name to Ronald McDonald House, 3925 Chestnut St., Phila. 19104.

Hard to believe 2 years already. I still see Chris's face how it shined when she spoke of you & her family. I know you're watching over all of them. May the love of family & friends hold fast for Chris & your family as they travel down this difficult path. Until we are all called home I will continue to pray for all of you.

No one brought more energy, fellowship, or intensity to the golf course. George was a great competitor and a consummate "Toad." I loved playing with him and against him. Our whole gang will miss him. My condolences to his family and close friends. He was special.

I remember George as kids in Levering school and Roxborough High school in the late 60s!
It was good to see him become successful in his business at the Domino diner and he had many friends and he has a great family. My wife Diane Condrone Gray and our family share our sadness for Chris, Tom and Anthony Vlahos in their loss of George and may he rest in peace in Gods kingdom!

My friend of 54 years. I loved him like a brother. He enriched my life with his friendship. A man among men. He literally would give someone the shirt off his back. My heart is heavy with his family.
