GEORGE, On June 17, 2016, of Laurel Springs NJ , formerly of Somerdale NJ, and Ridgewood, NY. Age 84. Beloved husband of Joan (née Smith). Devoted father of Kathy Falkowski (Anthony), Kenneth Weidler (Jo) and Ray Weidler, all of Laurel Springs. Dear Brother of William and the late Arthur Weidler. Brother-in-law of Grace Montenigro of Blackwood. Loving Grandfather of Kerri Sweeney (Nick), Katelyn Weidler (Auri Grisi) and Noah Weidler. Great Grandfather of Damien, Nicholas and Shane Sweeney. Beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his best friend and pet Mutnik. Mr. Weidler was a US Army Korean War Veteran and received the Bronze Star. George retired as a printer from the Phila. Inquirer. He loved happy times with family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday afternoon 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the COSTANTINO FUNERAL HOME 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE BERLIN, NJ 08009. Service 11:00 A.M. Waiting for George

I am so saddened to hear of George's passing. He was a beautiful soul and a cherished friend. I always looked forward to seeing George each day, first when he would take Mutnik for a walk by my house, and later when I would walk my dog Bailey by his house. If George was not outside, Bailey would lie down in the driveway and wait for George to come out to see him. I always enjoyed our conversations and each day was a little brighter after having spent time with him. George always had a cheerful smile for everyone he met, even when he wasn't feeling so well. I send my sincerest condolences to Joan and George's entire family. I pray he is in peace and is reunited with his pal Mutnik .
