May angels lead you to paradise; at your coming may the martyrs receive you and lead you into the holy city Jerusalem. May a choir of angels receive you, and with Lazarus, who was once a beggar, may you find eternal rest.

My prayers are with you and your family Bishop Zimmerman.

As Christians we must believe in the Resurrection of the Dead and the Communion of Saints. It hurts when one we loves leaves us here, but they are able to watch over us from the Divine Home of God. They no longer suffer or struggle in this world, but sit at the feet of the Holy Trinity, anticipating our arrival to be with them.

Know that prayers and Mass goes out to your entire family during this time. Know that you are loved and that one day you will be with your loved one again.
