MAZOL Gregory Francis Of Center City, Philadelphia passed away on July 9, 2024, at Pennsylvania Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Antoinette (nee D'Uva) Mazol, loving father of Meredith Emily Ryan (Jason) and James Gregory Mazol (Deborah) and grandfather (papa) to Natalie and Alice Ryan and Jack Mazol. Also survived by his brother Harry Mazol and sister Donna Nordstrom and many cherished nieces and nephews. After a long career as a Principal at Towers Perrin (WTW) Philadelphia and Buck Consulting in Berwyn, Greg retired and spent his ensuing years traveling, playing golf, swimming and loved to explore new restaurants with his wife and long-time friends. His "papa" time with his grandchildren was his most treasured passion. On Saturday, July 20, 2024, there will be a Celebration of Greg's Life at LAUREL HILL WEST FUNERAL HOME, 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA beginning at 10:00 A.M. So sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I knew Greg from swimming in the YMCA pool and the many chats we had individually or with his group of friends discussing the news of the day. The locker room and one to one phone conversations always covered his children and their interests and activities. May the Wind be at his back as he passes through the gates... Stephen
