Dear Mrs. Barsky, I just went on your site as I'm continuing a tradition of bringing my son down to Barsky's for an engagement ring for his girlfriend , just as my dad did for me and his dad did for him. I googled Harold's name and saw that he had passed , I was so sad to see that as I was hoping to introduce my son to such a wonderful man. He was always happy to see me or my brother or brother in laws as they all bought there engagement rings and wedding rings at your business. You will be in my prayers . Harold was such a true gentleman and always had a smile on his face. I will look out for Nathan as we travel down to your shop. Thanks, Marty Miller

In life, you can either be blessed or sometimes cursed by those who influence your thoughts and ideals as they are evolving with your life experiences.
In my life, I decided to take the best of all the men in my life, because you usually do not find one man who can teach you all that you need to know to live the most full filling life.
In my life their are 4 men who I am thankful for having mentor me.
Harold Barsky was obviously one of those men.
Mr. Barsky,
Thank you for being in my life and giving me your insight.
Your advice and knowledge about life was priceless.
I will always be grateful for your friendship and your love.
I love you and will miss you until we meet again.
Best,
David Frascella

My wife's late father was a customer of Harold's for years. He sometimes took my wife, when she was a little girl, to Harold's store. She has many lovely memories of Harold. When it came time for me to buy her an engagement ring, the logical choice was to visit him, which I did. We talked for almost two hours. I was so sure of the cut and setting. What did I know? He put it simply: "That's not Jennifer, this is Jennifer". He was EXACTLY right in his selection, which was completely different from what I had in mind. Thank you Harold for making such a monumental decision so easy. You will be missed.
My condolences to the entire Barsky family.

Harold was an exceptional person, I met him over thirty years ago when I purchased an engagement ring for my wife.
He was a pillar on jewelers row for so many years and will be missed tremendously; rest in peace Harold.
