Hey Mom-Mom ..just wanted to say i was thinking of you. The first two weeks of school have been tough and probably will get worse, but I know you're up there looking out for me and getting me through (like you always did with prayers haha). I'll make you proud, I promise. Well, I will continue to keep looking out for your little signs to let me know you are here with me :) I always knew you were. Miss you and love you. xxxooo

Hey Mom-mom ...I've been thinking about you a lot and I really miss you. I know you're in a better place, but I just wish you were here with me. The shore is going to be especially difficult without you this year, I almost don't want to go because this will all become real then. But the Mom-Mom I know and love would definitely want the "Conroy Clan" to have a great time as always, so just because I know it would make you happy I will try to have a good time despite everything. I miss you so much Mom-Mom and although you may not physically be there with us in Wildwood, I know you will be in Spirit..and of course in my heart. I love you xxxooo

To all of Mrs.Mcvey's (Honey"s) family, she will be forever in our memories and she holds a special place in our hearts. We will always remember that special smile she would give you when she saw you on the block and you would get that same smile even if you saw her 10 times that day. She truly had a light around her. 3000 Aramingo Avenue was not the same the day the McVeys moved away and not long after, her sister followed suit making this family on the street very sad. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this difficult time. Just remember she touched many a life, ours included and no one could have asked for a better family to be neighbors and friends with. God Bless Honey and all who are dealing with this horrific loss. Always remember she was loved. With Sympathy, The Smiths Gerry, Ryan and Honey's "adopted grandchild" Kathleen.

My Mom-mom was the greatest woman (next to my mother) that I have ever known. She meant more than anything to Alec and I. She will be greatly missed, but I will always hold the memories of her in my heart. I love you Mom-Mom. xoxo

Honey was so much more than just my mother in law. She was truly my second mom in my heart. She helped me take care of my babies, day in and day out, and enjoyed every moment of it. Nothing I ever asked of her was too much. Brittan and Alec adored her. I remember coming home from work, every day, to not only my children being fed, their homework completed (with her help), and a plate of dinner waiting for me in the oven. Anyone with children and a full time job knows what a tremendous gift this was that she gave to me, every single day. She thought nothing of it, it was just how she cared for her family, and I felt so comfortable around her, all the time. Sometimes we would sit and talk for so long after dinner that by the time I would actually walk across the street with Britt and Alec, it would be almost bedtime. Alec would sometimes have so much fun with mom-mom, playing baseball in the living room (yes, in her immaculate house no less), that he would refuse to come home with me. Some mothers might feel threatened by this, but I felt so lucky that my children had such a warm, loving, caring, and fun mom-mom that being with her was their favorite part of the day. She was so proud of them and let them know it, every day.
I remember the day before we moved from Aramingo Avenue, a move I know broke her heart, going to see her and telling her that I had come to realize that life was too short to not let the people you love and care about know how much they mean to you. I loved her, very much and told her just that, and that I was, and always would be, forever grateful for all of the love she gave to me and my children. I know she loved me just as if I were one of her own.
Maureen, Emmett, Michael, Timmy and Cathy, thank you for sharing her with me. She will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Aunt Honey was and will remain an inspiration to us all. She had so many qualities that so many of us strive to emulate each day. I know she's in Heaven with her daughter and my Godmother, Maureen. Together, they will look after us all.

With her ever-present humor, compassion and genuine love of life, Aunt Honey epitomized all we should strive to be in life.
She inspired not only her children, but her neices, nephews and grandchildren to enjoy every day. Yes, she cared about always looking your best (her beautifully coiffed hair!) but it was her interior qualities that will long be remembered.
We loved you Aunt Honey like our second Mother, and even after we all left Port Richmond, those days and the lessons learned will never be forgotten.
We are so glad we finally moved home to be near you in your last months.
Thank you for being such a wonderful woman, wife, mom, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend.
WE LOVE YOU!!!!

To the McVey family, I want you to know how sorry I was to hear of the passing of your wife and mother.
Mrs. McVey was a wonderful and kind person. She was a 'true lady.' I am happy to have known her.
