ISIDORE HOFFERMAN Obituary
ISIDORE
Died at home at the age of 98 on October 8, 2017 after a brief, but ultimately debilitating, illness. Survived by Sharon, wife of 67 years, son Jon, daughter Tani Sapirstein (Jon), and grand-daughter Kate Sapirstein. Though Izzy worked as a textiles jobber for more than 60 years, his true vocation was social activism and progressive politics, and he was sustained throughout his life by his love of family, classical music, theater and movies, and by befriending everyone he met.

Isidore, Uncle Izzy, as we knew him was a special person to our family. Family was very important to him and he took great joy when family came together. He always had a kind word to share and smile on his face. We enjoyed all the time we had with him and wish to extend our deepest condolences to Sharon, Jon, Tani, Jon, and Kate.
