I became well acquainted with Ray at
the Upper Dublin Public Library in
Ft. Washington. Ray was a frequent
visitor there. He would spend lengthy
sessions on the computer in reading the
news {currrent events, business, etc.}
and researching cruise ships. I enjoyed
his vast knowledge of world events
{including politics}, wit, good nature
and sharp intellect. I learned about his colorful military experiences in
Korea. He was a kind, gentleman. I have
missed him since he last visited the
library in July, 2009.

The McGill Family: Your Brother and Uncle Ray was a gentleman and interesting conversationalist. He had wit and was very quick with his comments which could be very humorous. He will be missed by his many friends from Philadelphia and Norwood Academy. May Ray McGill Rest In Eternal Peace.

Ray, darn it, wanted to go swimming just one more time at Elbow Beach, Bermuda. My son, Marcello, and I will greatly miss a wonderful friend, and overall Great Guy with a wonderful sense of humor. Marcello is the result of one of Ray's organized trips to Brazil, and he always played the perfect straight man to my many antics at Dover AFB, De. Aloha Raymond,
I shall forever picture you at my apartment door in Honolulu, with a smile on your face, a lei around your neck, a bottle of champagne in your hand, and a big "aloha" for this cousin of yours. May the same be waiting for you, wherever you are.
I shall miss you.
