To Iris, Ben, Jeff, Michelle, Dave and all the extended family -- it has been my privilege to know the Roses for nearly 40 years (Wow, I'm old:). You've been my adopted Philadelphia family and home-away-from-home ever since. My heart-felt condolences on the loss of Jack, who always made me feel welcome. I always look forward to seeing him and Iris when I come to town. It won't be the same, but I'm so glad I got to know him. Much love to you all, Howard.

Uncle Jerry and I were saddened to hear of the loss of Jack. He was a wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather. We had a conversation with him at little Ben's baptism party. He told us that he loved his children and grandchildren very much and was very proud of them all. His spirit will always be with you. God Bless Iris and all the Rose family and may he send you peace.

Jack-while it's been more than a quarter century , I will never forget the kindness and generosity you extended to me on the number of occasions when I came to visit Ben during the summer recesses from Penn. You and Iris always made me feel like an extended member of the Rose family and I frequently think back to those times with great fondness and appreciation. You family was and will always be devoted to you and the lessons you taught them and the example you set. May you Rest In Peace and know the mark you left on this Earth for those that remain. G-d bless you.
