CONNOR REV. JAMES L., S.J. Age 92, died at Manresa Hall, Merion Station, PA on June 21, 2021. Son of the late Martin F. Connor and Mary C. Kilpatrick Connor, and the brother of the late Mary Jane White. Father is survived by his brother Martin F. Connor, cousin Mary Duden, devoted nephews and nieces, as well as his Jesuit brothers. Father served as Provincial of the Maryland Province Jesuits from 1968 to 1973 and was well-known as pastor of Holy Trinity parish and director of the Woodstock Theological Center, both in Washington, D.C. Visitation will be held at St. Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 on Friday, June 25th from 9:30 A.M. until 10:15 A.M. Funeral Mass will follow immediately at 10:30 A.M.
