JAMES SHEERAN Obituary
JAMES L., age 69, of Roslyn died on July 31, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Margaret J. Hornsby Sheeran. He is also survived by his loving children and their spouses; Barbara and William Matthews, James E. Sheeran and Jeffrey and Lisa Sheeran; by his dear grandsons, Zachary Matthews, Samuel Matthews and Jacob Matthews; by two brothers and four sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., Aug. 4, 2010 from 7 - 9 P.M., BARON ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME, 1059 Old York Rd., Abington. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Thurs., Aug. 5, 2010, St. John of the Cross Church, 2741 Woodland Road, Roslyn, where friends will be received from 9 - 10 A.M. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contri-butions may be sent to American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Phila., PA 19103.

I knew Jimmy Sheeran back in the "50s when we attended Immaculate. I have not seen or talked to Jimmy since my mother passed away in 1957, and my brother sister and I moved to Merion Pa. with an aunt and uncle, finished high scool and joined the Marine Corp. I just came across the notice in the Immaculate Conception web site and wanted to let you know that I was thinking of all the good times we had when we were kids. Although we never kept in touch I will always rember Jim as a fun loving guy. Terry Boylan, class of .54 Immaculate., reside in Camp Hill Pa.

I was terribly shocked and saddened to learn of Jim's passing. He was such a friendly & familiar face at St. John's on Saturday nights. He will be greatly missed by all he knew.
