I had no idea Jimmy was gone. I am so shocked and sad. We were Spanish partners in college, and he was always very nice to me. I remember once we were walking to the house where we were teaching a woman ESL and it was raining. I was walking on the side of the sidewalk closest to the street, and Jimmy made me switch sides with him so I wouldn't get splashed by cars going by but he would instead. I am so very sorry for your loss.

James was one of my Biology students at CHS. I vividly remember his spunk and fun-loving personality in the classroom.

To the Stevenson Family, Our family would like to express our sincere condolences. Jim was a friend and mentor to two of our children. He was a good friend of our daughter, Susan and graduated high school the same year she did. They were friends during high school, college and after college. Our son, Jonathan, was on the wrestling team when Jim was captain of that team at Cheltenham H.S. He always tried to encourage Jon to work hard and practice the sport of wrestling.

To all the Stevenson family. I can't even begin to imagine how great a loss your family must feel at this time. Jimmy was a student in my law class at CHS. He was a VERY bright spot in the class and kept the matters of law most entertaining. He was the life of the class and very bright not only in spirit but also in thought. I haven't seen Jimmy since graduation but have thought of him several times over the years. I'm certain that he'll be missed by many and kept in our thoughts for years to come.

My parents informed me last night of the loss of Jimmy. It's been many years since I worked in your practice at Abington however it's has always been one of my fondest to work with you, Dr. Ward, Dr. Chatzinoff, Isabel and Nancy. When awaiting for the arrival of my first daughter Jillian who will soon be 22, I had the pleasure of watching Jimmy and your children at your home so I could "perpare" for motherhood. I remember that cute little smile.....and as I see the handsome young man he became. As I read the fond thoughts others have noted, I am so very sad for your loss. We met Jimmy only two or three times, but we have a vivid memory of a young man with a wide, welcoming smile and friendly, warm eyes.
