RIGAUD Jan Franzke Of Ardmore, PA, died March 28, 2025 in Morocco, where he had established a second home. Beloved Villanova French professor, world traveler, and stalwart friend, he inspired countless students over the course of decades with his passion for languages, his intellectual curiosity, and his deep appreciation for arts and culture. He leaves behind so many who have been touched by his life and example. Funeral Services will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ardmore, on Friday, April 25 at 11 A.M., followed by interment in the church cemetery and a lunch reception. Contributions in his memory may be made to one or more of the following Philadelphia arts organizations, which he loved: The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Opera Company of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Arden Theatre Company.
