JANET SCHEETZ Obituary

SCHEETZ DR. JANET ANN (nee BURNS) Dr. Janet Ann Scheetz (née Burns), aged 85, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, peacefully passed away on March 20, 2024. She is survived by her husband Hayden Scheetz, her children Alfred (Sandra) Scheetz of Hamden, CT, Lisa "Missy" Whaley of Oil Springs, ON, and Laura (John) Ryder of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Benjamin and Samuel Scheetz, Rachel (Michael) Whiting, and Jack Ryder, her great-grandson Hank Whiting, and her brother Robert (Gail) Burns. Dr. Scheetz was predeceased by her parents, William Francis Burns, Sr. (1987) and Anne Elizabeth Rola (1991), her brother William Francis Burns, Jr. (2000), and her grandson Jacob Alfred Scheetz (2016). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:30 A.M. at Saint John Vianney Roman Catholic Church in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater. Guestbook at: www.brettfuneralhome.net
