My sympathy to all of you. Jackie was my advisor at Temple and took me under her loving wing, inspiring me with her passion for children´s literature. I visited Jackie, George too, after my Temple years. I loved sharing our common interests of music and art, beyond the Temple classrooms. She was special. She had a profound impact on not just my teaching career, but my life.
