My deepest sympathies to the Shestack Family. Mr. Shestack's grand-daughter, Miriam, and I met as exchange students to France. In 2009, when Miriam invited me to join her family in Philadelphia for a Seder, I met her wonderful family and grandfather. He inspired me with his warmth and encouragement to strive to be a young man of character and service. I shall begin my freshman year in college stronger for having met him. What a privilege and honor to have known Mr. Shestack!

I worked for Mr. Shestack for many years at Schnader mostly part-time. He was a wonderful, kind man and worked hard for human rights. He will be sorely missed in the law and not many are around to fill his shoes. My condolences to Marciarose.

Mr. Shestack, thank you for all you did for me and for Nicholas. I learned so much from you and am thankful that you took me under your wing. I know you have already cross-examined Abe Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson. You'll be quite a character in heaven.
