we are taught that in death there is life. un-beknownst to you in your passing you gave me the greatest gift one could give. That being love. I am a stranger to you, and you to I, yet I know you through the legacey you have left behind. The stories that are told, the articles that were written, your many passions and convictionsas. I did not have the honor or privledge to know you personally yet I have been truely graced by God with knowing your family and loving such an amazing and incredible woman in your grand daughter. In your passing i found life and Love in her for which I will be eternally greatful. Your legacey will live on in our hearts and minds. and for this precious gift that you unknowingly gave me I thank you dearly. Thankyou to all the Strange family for allowing me the oppotunity to share in knowing you and them. Your tour on this earth is done. Rest easy for God has granted you rightful passage to his kingdom.

May the stars carry your sadness away, May the flowers fill your heart with beauty, May hope forever wipe away your tears. And, above all, may silence make you strong.

By far the greatest man to have graced my presence. The wealth of knowledge, his understanding and simple compassion that helped me on many levels to become a better human being. His castle being his fortress of solitude, and I being the weary traveler accepted at anytime.A good bit of my existence has been greatly enhanced due to this uniquely carved individual, whom i've had the life long pleasure of calling my grandfather.

We are so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our prayers. I have never seen a more beautiful obituary, Mr. Strange was such a special person to so many and the obituary shows that. Under the sad circumstance, what a way to show all his achievements and honor him. I wouldn't expect anything less from Jesse Jr.
