Not sure what to say?

Jack used to make me laugh alot. He would say the most unexpected things during a conversation. I remember one day in 1980 Philadelphia when I couldn't resist stepping back in time and buying a pair of penny loafers! I even had pennies in them.
I ran into him on the street walking to my car, and he immediately commented on my penny loafers. Since his comment was a joke of an adult nature, I can't write exactly what he said to me, but it was very, very funny!
This memory really sticks with me. What a wonderful guy!

Dr. Bellis was the best!! I was fortunate to know him as a coworker and friend. One day he came to visit me at the pharmacy at Roxborough Memorial Hospital to introduce himself. Little did I know, he was a chaperone on my senior trip to NY with our American Government teacher, Mr. Murray. Such a small world. Needless to say, our friendship grew from there. He was a fun, down to earth guy and a hard worker! A very well respected physician at the hospital. I will miss him. Xoxo

I met Jack when I was a student on an anesthesia rotation. Jack was very knowledgeable and kind. I remember on my last day of the rotation, he took me across the street to Benihana for lunch. He is one anesthesiologist who influenced me to pursue anesthesiology. He will be missed! Thank you Jack.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jack was a great friend and residency chief, and I will always cherish the time I spent with him, and the limited time I spent with you both.
