When the Buntings lived on Pleasant Avenue, I got to see Jack all the time. He always, and I mean ALWAYS had this knowing smile and laugh, almost as if he knew something that the rest of the world didn't. We'd be playing ball outside or shooting pool in the basement or boxing and he'd come home from work and there'd be that look. " Hey Pal !!" He'd look at John with that look that said " You're the greatest thing in my life", the same way he always looked at Robin and Jane Ann when he first saw them. He must have never had a bad day at work. He just seemed to know that he had it all....A daugher, a son and a tremendous wife. And he DID know ! It was as if he didn't have a care in the world, and was in love with life. And he WAS !!! And 40 years later when I'd run into him on the beach in Ocean City, it was the SAME THING. That's what I remember when I think of Jack. That wonderful, knowing laugh.

Dear Mrs. Bunting and Family,
Sending you lots of heartfelt prayers and asking God to surround you in peace and love during this difficult time losing your beloved John. Getting to know John and working with him at Rydal Park will always be one of the greatest blessings in my life. His vast intellect and rapier wit were such a joy and so refreshing and John was truly the consummate gentleman. On a personal level seeing John light up when he saw Mrs. Bunting entering the room and seeing the love that they shared is an inspiration to all of us in life. May God Bless you Mrs. Bunting and your wonderful family now and always and may God bless John forever!
