How sad that you have left us so soon, but what a joy to know you are no longer suffering. What comfort for those of us that love you to know with blessed assurance you are now in heaven with your Savior, Jesus Christ just as you requested the last time I spoke to you. Gretchen, Christine, Jamie, Katherine and Michael…John told me when I visited how deeply he loved you all and how much he would miss you. I pray God will hold you in His loving arms and give you comfort. With Love, Deb

John was one of the happiest people I know. Always smiling and willing to help anyone out. I've known him since I was a young girl. He and Gretchen had a very special relationship. John was a devoted husband and father who set a Godly example for his children. John you will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers for the Connelly Family. Linda Villanueva & family

What can I say to let everyone know what an impact John had in my life? He was the one who took me to the Cape May, NJ event at which I met my wife. He was the one who convinced me to take the Phila. Fire Dept. job 19 years ago. He was the one who I had some of the best laughs ever during our times together. He will be missed until, as Christians, we are all reunited in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are for Gretchen and the kids, as well as for all of John's family during this time.
