JOHN A., June 29, 2006. Beloved husband of Peggy (nee Fee), devoted father of Deborah (Fred) Johnson, Rocco (Debra) DePhilippo and Gerri (John) Allen. Brought to his final resting place by his grandson John Peter III, grandfather of Melissa (David) Picariello, Rocky Jr., Michael, Jonathan, Becca and the late John Peter III; brother of Patricia Sullivan and the late Frank and Joseph DePhilippo. Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING MONDAY 10 A.M. at Church of St. Katherine of Siena, 9700 Frankford Ave. (at Grant), followed by his Funeral Mass 11 A.M. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to John Peter Allen III Memorial Fund, 3912 Amherst Place, Phila. PA 19136.

Dear Peg & Family,
I just received the The Siena church bulletin from St. Katherine's for September/October 2006, and was shocked to see John's name. We are very sorry for your loss. He called in March 2006 after the passing of my father in law (Jack Swaim) and it was great to hear from him, after many years.
I will always remember John for helping others. If someone needed something he would help you to obtain it. He was always full of energy, a positive force in the world. I also remember his love for his family, always speaking highly of his wife, children and grandchildren. We will keep John and your family in our prayers, thoughts and our hearts.

John was a good man and he'll be missed by many. He had a heart of gold and a truly original personality. I will miss his phone calls and his visits to the office very much. His memory will always be cherished.
