John,
Just wanted to pass on my condolences to you and your family. Over the years you have been at the scene during several of the McDermott family medical crises with a kind word and calming influence, as well as of course a funny slant on everything. I always wondered how you came by that I knew it could not have been Chris....so from what Chris has said and what I read it must have been your Dad. Keep up your good spirits your Dad must have had a very good life and he would want you to have kept the smiles going.
Love and prayers

Dear Aunt Mary & family,
Please know Dennis & I loved Uncle John very much as so many others did. We will never forget his great sense of humor he was definitely one of a kind, he was simply the best. It was always a pleasure to see him even when things were not going so well for him he still continued to make you laugh never complaining or showing how bad he may have been feeling. We will miss him very much & I'm sure we will all meet again.
Love to you all, Dennis & Linda
