Dad,
I told you at the hospital that I would take care of Krissy and the rest of our family. What I learned in the time since you left us is that Krissy is the one taking care of everyone else. You'd be so proud of how strong she's been and how it's her everyone goes to when they need strength.
I'll always be thankful that you brought your little girl down the aisle to me, and I promise that I'll make sure our children know how much they missed out in never getting to meet their pop-pop.
-Timmy

The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Officer John L. Durrant for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of John will be broadcast to our 2662 members shortly and kindly accept our sincere condolences to your family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia’s Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .

My heart breaks for your great loss. I worked with John and he was more of a big brother than a co-worker. He always lifted my spirits when I was bored or depressed. I have always cherished my memories of working with John and Dave as some of the best times of my life. My prayers and those of my prayer group will be dedicated to your family.
