Jane and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Jack in high school and we kept in touch through most of the seventies. He even tried to convince me that I would love sky-diving. I told him I would enjoy it through his experiences. We lost touch but I never forgot Jack's warmth and twinkling eyes that said so much about him. He was a favorite friend and I was so sad to hear of his passing. I was so thrilled to see all he had done with sky-diving and how he shared it with so many people. I know he must have been an excellent husband, a wonderful father and a very loving grandfather. If heaven has sky-diving I am sure Jack must have already pulled the ripcord. He will always have a warm spot in my heart. God bless all of you for your loss.

I have only met Jack a handful of times but I learned so much at his visitation Sunday night just from talking with family and friends and seeing his photos and videos. He is the epitome of "carpe diem" and being your best self. May we all be inspired by his life and legacy.

Jack was the rarest of men. A true example of a life well led. He had a huge heart and he was generous with it. Jack always left everyone and everything he touched better than it was… Our hearts are with the entire Kirk family – we love you!

To our Dear Friend Jack, who had those twinkling eyes and that friendly smile. Lived around the corner during those St. Bernadette and Bonner years, friends for over 50 years. My brothers and sisters knew you since those young years and my Mom and Dad always asked "How's Kirkie doing?". They always remebered how you helped out when they were fixing up their house on Kenwood. That was you, always helping our - never turning down a freind. You will be missed by so many, Love, Marie and Joe Seiler

Jane,
God bless you and help you through this sad time. I will always remember his smile -- grin! From looking at the picture, he really did not change much over the years, still that same boyish look. Peter has so many fond memories from their childhood, he laughs when he tells some of those stories of his Hellcat buddy. Our prayers and our thoughts are with you.

We never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. Jack was a wonderful man and we were blessed to be able to call him family. He had the biggest heart and we will miss him very much. May the sorrow you feel in your hearts lighten by the love that surrounds you. Love, Bill & Joyce

Dear Jane & Family:

I can only imagine how difficult this has been for you and Jack's family. Our hearts go out to you and your family. Jack was just too young, to have to passed so soon. It's such an incredible loss. I know Jack treasured your caring and loving attention during his illness, because he told me so - often. Jack was an extraordinary person to many. All his life he worked very hard, paying special attention to “details”, whether it was carpentry work, installing flooring, jumping, building friendships, or being a wonderful husband. I will miss Jack greatly, but will reflect upon my fond memories of him often.

Finally, “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal”. - Irish Headstone
