JOHN MARTORANO Obituary
JOHN D. SR., on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, age 82 years of Collingswood, NJ. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Sparta). Loving father of Donna Monturano (Joseph) of Audubon, John Martorano, Jr. (Nicole) of Audubon, Janice Martorano of Audubon, and Lorraine Petracci (John) of Audubon. Devoted grandfather of Alicia LaVere (Matt), Laura Pettersen (Phil), John Martorano III, Cassondra Martorano, Janine Bocchicchio, Josie Petracci, Joelle Martorano, Felix Bocchicchio, Carlotta Petracci and Vincent Bocchicchio. Loving great grandfather of Cole Pettersen, Lucia LaVere, and Juliette Pettersen.
Mr. Martorano was very devoted to his family. He was the owner of John's Wholesale, Inc. and was a proud US Army veteran who served during the Korean War. He enjoyed making wine and the only thing he held closer than his family, was his wine recipe.
Visitation will be held Monday November 3, 2014, 9:00-10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent Pallotti Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish), 901 Hopkins Road, Haddonfield, NJ 08033. His funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
