John McCollum Obituary

McCOLLUM JOHN O., Feb. 14, 2002, beloved husband of Grace McCollum (nee Capozzoli), loving father of Denise Paul and her husband James of Lower Gwynedd and Diane Melville and her husband William of Schwenksville; also survived by his twin brother Hugh McCollum. John was cherished by his grandchildren, Kathleen and Christina Paul and Christopher and Daniel Melville. John was a 32nd Degree Mason and will be sadly missed by the members of the Joseph H. Brown Lodge No. 751 F.&A.M., the Northeast Shrine Club and the Hillbilly Degree Keystone Clay No. 12, he was also a member of the Legion of Honor-LU LU Temple and the Chapel of Four Chaplains Legion of Honor. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Sunday eve. 7 to 9 P.M. at, BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (so. of Grant Ave.) and his Funeral Mass on Monday 10 A.M. at St. Albert the Great Church, Huntingdon Valley, Pa. No viewing Monday A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cem., Langhorne. Contributions in his memory may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 12265 Townsend Rd., Phila., Pa. 19154.

With the deepest sympathy, we send our condolences to Grace and her family. We all agreed that he was one of the nicest, most congenial person that we have ever met in a long tme. He will be missed greatly by "The Wildwood Women" - Our love, prayers and thoughts are with you.

As a neighbor and customer of the twins for the last 27 years, they have been like family to me.
