JOHN J. "JACK", age 87, of Ft. Washington, formerly of N.E. Phila., on April 4, 2016. Beloved husband of Maria A. Quinn (nee Vasturia); devoted father of William J. Quinn, Eileen Q. Fabiszewski (Bob), Kathleen Getts (Rick), Maureen Q. Shiver (Ronald), Donna M. Quinn, Jim Quinn, Paula Mulcahey (Bill) and Stephen P. Quinn (Kelly); also survived by 19 grand-children and a great-grandson.
Relatives, friends, West Catholic H.S. Class of '46 and former employees of the U.S. Postal Service (30th Street) are invited to attend his Viewing Friday eve, 6 to 8:30 P.M., and his Funeral Saturday morning, 9:45 to 10:45 A.M., at St. Alphonsus Church, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen PA 19002, followed by his Funeral Mass 11 A.M. Rite of Committal Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 12265 Town-send Rd., Ste 400, Phila. PA 19154.

Marie -Very sorry to hear about Jack. In high school we had the same roster for 4 years. He was a great classmate. Never said an unkind word about anybody. He did a very good job of keeping our luncheons going after Dick Conway passed away. Thank you Jack. It was a pleasure to know you.

Jim, I am soo sorry to hear of your dad's passing, my thought's & prayers are with you & your family. I would like to share a poem with you, that I had written a while ago, it's titled: In Loving Memory
Dear Family, Friends & Loved Ones,
I know these last few months have been very trying,
But that was God's way to prepare you for my dying;
But please be happy for me,
Because I'm in Heaven, with God you see;
What happened was part of God's plan,
And He reached down and grabbed my hand;
I reached up and held Him tight,
For my miraculous flight;
So now in Heaven I will wait,
Until you come through the Golden Gate;
So please don't cry for me,
Because this was the end of my journey;
I'm no longer out there on the roam,
I'm finally, Safely Home!
