I have the fondest memories of working with and learning from John at the 100 Prospect Street office in Stamford. We shared 4 offices on the Penthouse floor of that building and I benefited greatly from John's views and insights. Warmest thoughts to Diane and family.

We are going to miss John. His wit, hot humor and fun personality was a treasure to us all. Our 3 girls were the first of the next generation and John was always so warm and endearing to them which they remember to this day. We will always keep him in our memories and heart. Love Debbie and Jim Greenwood

My sincerest condolences to Diane and the Greenwood family. I had the privilege of working directly with and for John at GE Capital. He was a great mentor and a real character in the office. John had a sharp wit and I have fond memories of our time together. He was more than a boss and work colleague; he was a friend. Rest in Peace, Greenwood.

The qualities I admired about John. An unconventional thinker. A great story teller. An infectious laugh. Always took an interest in you in conversation. His ability to adapt and pivot. Always looked forward going to socializing with the Greenwoods. Was really struck when I heard the news. I have such fond memories of John. My heartfelt condolences to you Diane, Kristin, and Patrick. Cal
