John Slonaker Obituary
JOHN WILLIAM, on Sept. 21, 2006. Devoted father of John Paul, Matthew Joseph, Jean and Regina; also survived by 9 grandchildren and his stepfather, Anthony Stemock. His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, from 12 Noon until his 1 P.M. Funeral Service, CASSIZZI FUNERAL HOME, 2913-17 E. Thompson St. (at Cambria). John was a long time Democratic and Republican Commit-teeman. Interment private.

I have known John for many years and much of our teenage years were spent together. He was a good friend and will truly be missed. I have too many good memories to start to list them.
He called several times a year to discuss old friends we have seen recently, update each other on major life events [both for ourselves and other friends from Olney (5th & Nedro)], and some of the crazy and fun things we did in those earlier years.
