Glenna, Adam, & Stephanne,
Like everybody who knew and loved Jack, I am so saddened by his death. Jack has left a great legacy of love, kindness, humor, and memories. Those memories will warm us, give us a chuckle, and give you strength. How fortunate and blessed you are to be his family. Here, from a poem of Wordsworth, "...nothing can bring back the hour of the glory in the flower or the splendor in the grass, we must grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind."
With love, Chuck Kern

Our friendship with Jack has continued for over 35 years. We are deeply saddened by his loss. He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet, easy to talk with and fun to be around. The mention of Penn State immediately brings Jack to mind and it always will. Our hearts go out to Glenna, Adam, Stephanne and your family. We are so sorry we are not able to be there in person, but you all, are always in our thoughts and prayers. God be with you all during this sad time. All our love, Claire & Paul

Glenna, Adam, Stephanne & family,
Our thoughts and our prayers are with you. Jack was a devout husband, a proud father, a loving brother and to us and many many others a fine friend.
We will miss you Jack and our lives are better having known you.
