Beloved husband of Judy (nee Bodway); loving father of Marissa (Noah Epstein) Abraham; cherished grandfather of Emma and Jacob Abraham; adored son of the late Mae and Harry Abraham; loving brother to David (Jan) Abraham and Cyd (Efraim) Nathan. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services Wednesday October 2, 12:00 P.M. at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Road, Trevose, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Penn Pancreatic Cancer Research Center https://www.med.upenn.edu/pcrc/donate.html.

Dear Judy,
Finding sad news on the Internet has become an unwelcome occurrence when searching for old friends. On this occasion, while hoping to catch up with an old Navy buddy, I was shocked to instead find Jon’s obituary. Having only met him briefly back in the days of M.C., he did leave a lasting impression that took me back some 30-years. Please accept my profound condolences.

Dear Judy,
Jon was my outside accounting expert lightyears ago in the Elgart and Korn era. He was always so supportive and I admired him very much. Those were difficult times and I so valued his advice.
There is nothing I can tell you about Jon that you already don't know except there were so many people that he made a difference.

Dear Judy and Marissa,
I'm so sorry for your loss of a great Husband and Dad. I loved Jonny. He lived life to the fullest, worked very hard but always had time for his family and friends. He helped me a lot in my career and I'll always be grateful to him for that. He had great energy, spoke the truth and welcomed challenges. He was very special in many ways and it was great to be in his company. He will be missed by all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing.

Jon Abraham always made me feel important and cared for. I would call him often and let him know that I was praying for him and and he always appreciated and thanked me for those prayers.

I'm still in a state of shock that Jon is gone. He was a great friend and business colleague. He was larger than life and always wanted to know how I was doing. A true Mensch. Marissa and my son are the same age and we shared their experiences over the years as they progressed through jr high, high school, college and law school. I miss you my friend.

I met Jon and his wife on the beach thanks to some close friends at Global Canada. I will never forget, he made me laugh so much that for 1 hour, my back was facing the sun and I fried myself. Right away he made me feel like we had been friends for a long time. He came across as a person you wanted to listen to. I will miss you Jon at those Global events.

Jon was such an amazing person. I am so grateful to have had him as a friend and mentor. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for him. He was always so loyal and of course one of the funniest people you could ever meet. He was authentic, witty, and had a funny story or analogy to go with every situation. Sending heartfelt condolences to Jon's family and friends from all at UIC. I have personally worked with Jon for almost 20 years and have been fortunate that not only was he a client but a friend. I enjoyed hearing stories about his family and his excitement when he became a grandfather.
His wisdom and friendship will be sorely missed but most of all his jokes. He was a true Mensch.

I first met Jon in 2008. We had a handful of conversations about how to be successful at Global which I took to heart. I remember him calling me to tell me a story about riding his Indian motorcycle and not letting his wife know and from that day forward every conversation ended with motorcycles. I will miss my chars with Jon. Ride Safe my friend.

As the President of Global he pushed for "Everybody Counts" and that was his mantra. Always approachable and accessible, he made time for all.

I just can't believe you're gone. You were special to Ed and me since the first time we met you when you were seated at our table at a L&H "prom" dinner. I will always remember your nightly phone calls to tell a joke (usually bad) when Ed was sick and how you carried on the tradition of calling me with those nightly bad jokes after Ed died. Now, I guess, Ed will be directly hearing some more of those jokes which probably have not improved with age. With much love,

Occasionally he would stop by someone's desk and tell them a story, one time I told him I was going to get married, he told me to run away it was things like that made him relatable and liked at Global.
