Dear Kris,Sheila and Joseph Sorry To Hear About Your Dad He was a good man, father and friend. Love Aunt Pink
March 11, 2010
Kristine & Sheila: You took such good care of your Dad, tending to his every need as his health failed. Whenever I think of Joe, I'll recall the happiest, most content shore resident and fisherman I've ever known. It didn't take much to put a smile on his face--time with his grandkids; a walk on the beach; day on the pier or on the boat fishing--with his baseball cap, his sweatsuit and his fishing gear. And how very much he loved his grandkids. We'll miss him; he was a kind and gentle soul, a very good guy. He loved you and will watch over you.
May he rest in peace.
Love,
Betty & Michael DeMarco

To the Burke Family,
Your Dad gave us so many happy times over the years. It was great having you all live next door. Remember the Blackie story when your Dad was in the shower and came out to find Blackie in the bed, your Dad used to love to tell this story. Your Dad was so kind, he was a good man who loved you all very much. When we get back from Florida I would love for us all to get together and celebrate your Dad's life. All the good times we can remember and so many funny stories. We hold you in thought and prayer. know that heaven just got the best fisherman in a long time. May he rest in peace.
Love,
The Cariola's

To My Family,
First of all I want to let you know that I arrived ok...
I'm writing this from Heaven, here I dwell with the Lord above...
Here there is no more sadness...
Only eternal love.
Don't be unhappy just because I'm out of sight...
Remember that I'm with you, every morning, noon and night....
That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was thru...
God picked me up and hugged me and said Joe I welcome you, it's good to have you home again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on...
I need you here badly, your part of my Master Plan, there's so much that we have to do to help Our mortal man...
God gave me a list that He wished for me to do, first and foremost, was to watch and care for you....
When you go to bed at night, the days chores put to flight...
Remember, God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night...
When you think of my life on earth, all those loving years, because you are only human they are bound to bring you tears...
Do not be afraid to cry, it will ease the pain, remember there would be no flowers, unless there was the rain...
I wish that I could tell you all what it is that God has planned...
But if I told you, you wouldn't understand....
One thing that is for certain,
though my life on earth is over...
I'm closer to you now than I ever was before....
There are rocky roads and many hills to climb...
Together we can do it, taking one step at a time....
It was always my philosphy,
and I'd like it for you too...
That as you give unto the world...
The world will give to you...
If you can help someone who is in sorrow or in pain....
You can say to God at night, " my day has not been in vain"...
Now I am certain that my life has been worthwhile...
Knowing as I passed I made somebody smile....
If you meet someone who is sad and feeling low....
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go....
When your walking down the street,
And you have me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps
just a half a step behind..
And when it's time for you to go on,
from your body to be free....
Remember your not going....
Your're coming home to me......
