JOSEPH A., July 22, 2013. Beloved husband of Annamaria (nee Baselice). Devoted father of Jseph, Matthew and Courtney. Son of Salvatore Crea. Brother of James (Johanna) Crea. Uncle of Daniel, Christopher, Erica, James, Melissa, Stephanie and David. Popi to Honey Bear. Viewing Thursday evening 7 to 9 P.M. from THE STOLFO FUNERAL HOME, 2536-38 S. Broad St. Also Viewing Friday morning after 9 A.M. from the funeral home. Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. Holy Spirit Church, 19th and Hartranft St. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Roy Holladay Family Foundation.

Dear Crea Family,
I was so sad to hear of Joe's death, and I'm sorry for your loss. I sat right across from him at IBC for many years. When my father died, Joe was very sweet and comforting to me. He told me that losing a parent is something you never get over. I hope the memories of what a lovely person he was bring you some comfort. He will be missed by many people.

Dear Cousin Annamarie:
Words cannot express how sorry I and my family feel of Joe's passing. I wish life didn't get in the way and I had more time to spend with Joe. Although I am deeply saddened by Joe's passing, I am happy to have gotten to know him over the past 30 years and to have proudly called him my cousin. To the Crea family:
I had the pleasure of working with Joe at both Corestates and IBC. We had our daily reserved lunch table with the regular crew...always had laughs mostly from one of Joe's comments. He was a genuine person ... Called friends when they were ill and was in contact with me when I was unemployed a few years ago.
I will miss him.

So sorry for you loss. He was a Husband, a Dad, a friend to some and like a brother to us. He was always compassionate, fun loving, and sometimes crazy. We will miss him terribly and are grateful for all the holidays we spent together as a family. Especially when he dropped a glass of wine, red that is, on my brand new white carpets. Joe helped bring me in to IBC, made me an official member of TripleJ Racing Team (along with Joe Cianela), and welcomed my 8-year old son with open arms into our NASCAR 'inner-circle'....he was a dear friend and a great person.
