JOSEPH DUGGAN Obituary

DUGGAN JOSEPH C. On January 31, 2021 age 77 years of Ardsley, PA. Joseph was born February 17, 1943 in Washington, DC to Joseph C. Duggan, Sr. and Helen L. (Bartley) Duggan. Attended Holy Name Elementary School and Holy Family High School in New Bedford, MA. Graduated from the University of Mass., Dartmouth Campus, with a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computing. Served in the U.S. Army as an instructor at Fort Belvoir, VA during the Vietnam War. Married Teresa K. Zakrzewski in Utica, NY in 1971. Employed by Univac as a Computer Engineer in Ilion, NY; Sperry in Bristol, TN and Blue Bell, PA. He continued working in Blue Bell for Unisys, after Sperry and Burroughs merged, until 2003. He last worked for Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia until 2010. Joseph received a number of patents while he worked for Univac. Joseph leaves his wife Teresa and 3 children and 4 grandchildren: Katherine (Keith) Lockwood and Bridget and Charlie; Timothy (Jennifer) and Will and Sarah; and Daniel (Sophorn). He also leaves his brother Dermot in New Bedford. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Margaret. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Queen of Peace Church in Ardsley, PA.
