Unfortunately have not seen Joe in years but we attended Gannon at the same time and he was a T.KE. frater of myself and many others. His sense of humor helped us all get through college. What a Pinochle player. Sincere sympathy to his entire family.

I lived next door to Joe when he lived on Laurel Road and am saddened to hear of his passing on. Joe bought me my first football and I was honored by having been asked to serve as an alter boy at his wedding. Although I had not seen Joe in several years, I will always remember his infectious laugh, his sense of humor, and his generosity towards his friends and neighbors. My parents, my sister, and I have many fond memories of Yeadon and Joe is and will always will be a large part of that. My most sincere condolences go out to his family.

I am going to miss Joe. He was the one who kept the wheels of government running smoothly in Marple Township and will be hard to replace. As a friend, he will be impossible to replace.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Joe Flicker. He was a great guy. I remember working with him during my tenure on the Marple Township Planning Commission and Environmental Advisory Board in the 1980's and 1990's.

Brian, Beth, and Susie - the news of your father's passing comes as a great shock to me. We have had far too many 'too soon' losses in our little circle of Yeadon neighbors and friends. He loved you guys...it was evident to us all...not many dads can handle prom-time with their girls all alone - and still remain calm, cool, and collected!...and is a testament to the kind of man he was. Please know that others recognized this greatness in Joe...and share in your sorrow at this time.

My deepest sympathies to the Flicker family and friends. Heaven is a little bit brighter now that Joe is there with his Master. He will be very much mised by all who have known him
