Dear Family and Friends,

Losing Joe and Connie Marino, our beloved Dad, Mom, and Grandparents, within the same year is devastating for us to bear.

We thank you for your support during our time of bereavement. We all miss them immensely, but fortunately, we have a lifetime of wonderful memories to make us smile and give comfort during this most difficult period.

In Love and Peace,

Joey, Dolores, Nick, Dana, Jon and Maria

Good Friends,

At times, people enter our lives and for some reason have a greater impact on us than others. Joe was one of these people. This special man had a kindness toward people and a contagious childlike excitment for life. Simply put, he was fun to be around, and he always made us feel welcome. Joe was everyone's Grandpop. He is sorely missed.

Without You

With a wink of your eye the world can change

Inner feelings becoming heavier as each moment progresses

The thoughts in your head swirling about as if they have no way out

Hours passing by and you still can’t get past the thought of why

Overbearing tension

Ulterior feelings

That you cannot express

Yearning for something more

Offset by a fake smile

Until that moment comes when you can hold back no more

The moment you realize that you are without that special someone whom you held so dear

The moment you realize that it is all true

The moment time stands still as your heart skips a beat allowing you to realize that you are missing something

That is the moment you must realize you are not alone you are instead with many memories and the love you shared

You are with people who love and care

So when that moment comes dry your tears and remember the years you’ve had together

Smile and realize you are not alone

My prayers and sympathy to all of the family. I had the privilege of meeting Joe once at a family gathering. He and my father, Peter DiCioccio grew up together and had some nice memories. I am sure they are reunited as friends in a much better place. May God continue to bless each of the family members.
