On Dec. 7, 2017, age 82, of Philadelphia, PA and Marco Island, FL. Beloved husband of Eileen (McDevitt) Slawek and the late Diane (Kane) Slawek, father of Kimberly A. Slawek, Dr. Joseph E. Slawek, III and Cindy Wittstock, step father of Paul Heck, Bruce Heck, Eileen Nigro, Kimberly Cillio and Kellyann Cillio, brother of Dr. Michael Slawek, Dr. Peter Slawek and Sue Lynam; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pk., Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Friends may call on Friday morning from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at THE MOORE, SNEAR AND RUGGIERO FUNERAL HOME, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Interment will be private in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Joseph Preparatory School, 1733 W. Girard Ave., Phila., PA 19130.
