To the family and co workers of Dr Spaar my heartfelt sympathies. I unfortunately just learned of Dr Spaar's passing and I was filled with sadness.I'm remembering all the lunches and fun times we had at the office lunches. I always enjoyed his stories of trips to Puerto Rico with his wife and his plans for the future. Dr Spaar was a true gentleman and professional and will be greatly missed in the community.
May God bless his family and hold them tight in this very difficult time.

Joe was a great college chum, medical school colleague, and fellow physician. So glad that we had the recent opportunity to re-connect after so many years. His friendship will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his lovely wife and family/.

I knew Joe for 25 years working in the Endoscopy Unit, Mainland Division. He was always very pleasant and easy to get along with. He was always a gentleman to his patients. He will be missed greatly by those that new him.

Dr. Spaar was A hell of A man who helped me become the tech I am today. We had many many laughs and crazy stories working in his room. This loss is very hard to take in. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family!

Having retired from ACCESS four years ago I have many fond memories of my seventeen there,but Dr. Spaar with his sense of humor and his childish practical jokes (that I was victim to one more then one occasion)are among my favorite.
Always a gentleman and caring physician but above all else his love and respect for his wife Zori made him a very special man.
